Founding partner Juan Ramón Obón León has spent over 40 years as a copyright specialist. Peers say his experience as a movie director gives him an exclusive take on IP. "He's one of the best lecturers and writers in the copyright business," said one competitor. "He has always tried to keep his firm small – however, he's one of the guys I respect the most regarding copyright." Another said: "He's very sharp and he knows copyright well." Obón León is also a professor at the Universidad Panamericana and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma (UNAM).
