Borsam Intellectual Property is praised for its "detailed account management". Founded in 2005, the young firm has already turned in satisfying results for one client: "We want to stop infringing acts but want to see less litigation. It helped us achieve this and saved us the trouble of court proceedings." Headquartered in Shenzhen, the six-partner firm does a lot of contentious work. It obtained monetary compensation for a Taiwanese manufacturer, whose products were forged and sold in supermarkets and shopping malls around the country. The infringement claims against retailers were instituted in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Fujian. Steven Lin, who is recommended for his "solid management and litigation work", advised on the case.

The team is also advising a Malaysian designer in the negotiation with a Chinese website operator in a copyright infringement dispute. The firm is strong in electronics and biotechnology and has submitted around 800 domestic patent filings this year. Notable clients included Ledman Optoelectronic, Shenzhen Breo Technology and Comix Stationery.
