Fiebinger Polak Leon & Partner had some notable new hires last year but also some key departures. Although it welcomed Robin Lumsden as partner from Schönherr Rechtsanwälte, both Fumiko Susanne Thränhardt and Martin Gaggl left the firm to Innenministerium Köln and Credit Suisse respectively. The firm also lost five associates but brought in four over the last 12 months. Heading the practice is Constantin Kletzer, who is advising fashion designer Christian Louboutin on trade mark and design law. He is also representing ski manufacturer Kästle in a dispute with Fischer Ski, which is allegedly infringing a ski-tip patent owned by his client. Aside from life sciences, the firm has specialist partners in media, product liability and energy.
