Lincoln IP has two offices in Scotland, in Aberdeen and Glasgow, with five fee-earners. As patent and trade mark attorneys they do all manner of prosecution and filing work for clients such as China Industries, Cupid and Swagelining. Matthew Lincoln and David Fulton are both directors, with Karen Veitch the head of trade marks. The firm is a fast developing one, which is reporting large increases in work year on year.
A highlight mandate for the firm this year came from China Industries, through its trade name Wow! Stuff. It owns manufacturing and distribution rights to remote-controlled flying fish toys called Air Swimmers. The team at Lincoln IP produced a protection strategy and gained two UK patents, a CTM and a number of registered designs for the firm.
