The firm won a favourable ruling for Sabinsa in a trade mark dispute, in which the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit overturned the district court's decision in favour of defendant Creative Compounds. The appeals court further ordered the district court to rule in favour of the plaintiff. The matter, which lasted more than six years, was especially notable for its confirmation that a trade mark plaintiff does not have to prove actual confusion to succeed in an infringement dispute.
