Brann has four offices in Sweden with its head office in Stockholm. The firm has shown a solid performance over recent years, keeping its market share in the patent prosecution market. In 2010 it increased its staff, hiring Ingela Stenberg and former Zacco partner Henrik Fehninger.
In 2011 Kristian Fredriksson, Nabil Sebaa and Alida Lundquist were representing Fibersystem against Comex Electronics in patent infringement and invalidation litigation before the Swedish Supreme Court. The case revolves around national defence secrets and has required intervention from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration. In 2010 litigation expert Omar Baki represented Puma in a trade mark litigation regarding potential infringement of its leaping cat mark by Arctic Cat. The district Court has awarded a preliminary injunction against Arctic Cat. Astrid Johnsson also won a victory for Chrysler Group in the Swedish Court of Patent Appeals, which accepted that Jeep could enjoy trade mark protection and was not just a generic name for all-terrain vehicles. Baki also acted for Legend in a copyright litigation case.
