A notable case for the firm was its representation of local electronics producer Dien Ghin Electronic in a patent infringement matter against Khek Tai Ting trading as Soon Heng Digitax. Dien Ghin Electronic was seeking a declaration of non-infringement and a revocation of the defendant's patent, which relates to an electronic display for use on vehicles. The matter was heard in August 2010, and at time of writing a judgment is yet to be announced. The case could affect the transport industry in Singapore as these electronic displays are widespread.
