Patpol, one of the two largest patent and trade mark filing agencies in Poland, began to develop its litigation practice over the past 18 months to offer clients a full IP service. The agency has benefited from the Community trade mark with "companies now looking to expand their brands under the EU-wide trade mark," says managing director Katarzyna Karcz. With Poland still having not joined the London Agreement, Patpol has a lot of work in the translation of patent applications and has remained a market leader in this respect.
