Acapo formally incorporated ABC Patents in 2010. The firm's healthy mix of local and international clients allowed it to manage the financial downturn successfully and keep its team of European patent attorneys, who are noted for high quality drafting skills. The firm is managed by Hilde Vold Aunebakk, head of patents Jan Ove Hindenes and head of legal Kjersti Rogne. Notably, attorneys Gunnar Søndersrød and Trond Øvsttun have both been called on to act as expert witnesses in disputes before the Norwegian courts. The well-recognised attorney Timothy Norris has also been active at CEIPI, where he has served as a lecturer.
