Committees
Brien de Gannes and Debra D'ade are the Chairman and Secretary, respectively, of the Ad Hoc Committee to Review Intellectual Property Laws in Trinidad and Tobago. This committee was authorized by the Attorney General to review, report on and assist in the drafting and amending of the current intellectual property laws in Trinidad and Tobago. Brien was a member of a Cabinet-appointed Committee which formulated the National Intellectual Property Policy for Trinidad and Tobago. Both Brien and Debra are now members of a committee recently appointed by the Minister of Legal Affairs to review the legislative framework for the management of Intellectual Property Rights in Trinidad and Tobago.
