Spanish IP firm, Clarke Modet & Co is present in Peru with one office in Lima and a team of four IP professionals. The firm represents companies from various economic sectors: media and entertainment, chemicals, construction and petrochemicals.

Clarke Modet & Co is a respected IP firm ranked in tier 2 of the patent and trade mark prosecution tables. The firm has a long history in the market and was established in 1879. It has a large presence in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries with 32 branches across 10 countries. The firm does a lot of prosecution work and in 2012 it made 2153 trade mark applications and 1534 validations. "Clarke is the classical patent and trade mark agency," one peer says. "It has 10 times the staff of other firms." Also, in the period from January 1 2007 to October 25 2012, it made 2817 Community trade mark (CTM) applications.
