Founded by Hao Qingfen in 1998, Dragon Intellectual Property Law Firm showed its intent by hiring 12 new associates in 2010. With offices in Beijing, Tokyo, Chicago and Geneva, the firm has a diverse client base and counts Hitachi, Lenovo, ITW Illinois Tool Works and ZTE, a Chinese telecommunications equipment provider, as some of the active clients. It employs 85 patent attorneys and technical specialists, of whom 18 are former senior examiners in SIPO. This enables the firm to take into account possible official reactions when giving advice to clients or when doing patent drafting.
