Gunnar Sørlie is renowned in the market for his pharmaceutical litigation practice and many peers consider Are Stenvik, who joined the firm at partner level in 2011 from his professorship at the University of Oslo, one of the best in the business if not the best. According to one competitor, the firm now "has the most famous IP law expert in Norway in Stenvik – it is a big development for the firm to have recruited him, he is the big expert in IP law in Norway and also in the Nordic region". Another peer says the firm should be listed in tier one as "with very few exceptions Sørlie is doing all the originator work for companies like Sanofi-Aventis, Novartis and Pfizer".
