The Delhi High Court granted an injunction against Heinz holding that its advertisement of Complan disparaged the Horlicks brand of the plaintiff. The issue of jurisdiction was also addressed, with the Supreme Court affirming the decision made that in the case of civil disputes the Code of Civil Procedure is to be followed and principles of jurisdiction and anti-suit injunctions do not apply. This matter was decided in November 2010.

A team led by Lall represented Gramophone Company of India against Super Cassette Industries. The case involved the making of versions of musical and literary works and selling them in confusing packaging and synchronisation of them to make films.
