Lenz & Staehelin's Jürg Simon won particular praise from one competitor saying "he is one of the most respected IP lawyers in the country". The compliments were extended to the overall practice with many agreeing that the corporate side of the firm has benefited the IP practice. One rival says: "It is definitely one of the leading firms in IP". The other co-head of the IP department, Thierry Calame, advised AHP Manufacturing on the application for a supplementary protection certificate (SPC). Meanwhile, Simon successfully represented Pfizer in a trade mark litigation case. One client of the firm says: "They [Simon and Calame] are great to work with."
