Alistair Payne heads the group at Matheson Ormsby Prentice, which handles a broad range of IP work and IP matters related to other parts of this corporate firm – including M&A, employment law and restructuring work. In recent years it has been involved with many different aspects of IP litigation, including trade mark infringement and passing off, patent infringement involving government agencies and research bodies, and various anti-counterfeiting matters with international brands.
