Editorial coverage

China

One of the largest full-service law firms in China, Jun He Law Offices is determined to build a name for itself in IP as the market becomes more sophisticated. The firm snatched partner Steven Cui from Jones Day, and Zoe Wang and James Zhu together with a team of three associates from US firm Perkins Coie to start up its patent practice in May 2010. Paul Schmidt joined as a counsel from Baker & McKenzie in October to further strengthen Jun He's trade mark practice.

The firm focuses on various aspects of IP counselling and is experienced in patent prosecution. It also benefits from being a leading general firm and the IP team advises on a range of IP-related matters together with other practice groups within the firm. "The reason I recommend Jun He is that the lawyers have plenty of experience in dealing with a wide range of international legal matters and the advice provided by Jun He is very professional," notes a client. "Zoe Wang is an excellent legal professional who helps our company a lot in a wide range of legal areas, especially IP."
