The UK IPO has launched a survey asking designers and companies that make use of design rights to comment on how the law should be changed.
The survey, put together by law firm Speechly Bircham and research organisation Mountainview Learning, asks industry respondents how often they have been involved in infringement actions and how they responded. It then asks them to agree or disagree with a range of statements about the strength of protection for design rights.
The survey can be found
here and will lead to a report to be submitted to the IPO later this year.
